Mobile gantries offer a low cost lifting system with the advantage of being able to move it to a different location (not under load). The gantry can be fitted with a manual or powered hoist (see Hoists Section). If a powered hoist is ordered then a festoon power supply system will also be required (see Electrical Section).

Mobile Variable Height Gantry |

Very similar in design to the fixed height gantry but with external bracing and allowing for a sliding centre extension piece within the "A" frame.
Standard gantries have 11ft (3353 mm) span between side frames. The under beam height is adjustable between 9ft (2743 mm) and 14ft (4267 mm) by means of a simple screw and bevel gearing system.
Each gantry is fitted with ball bearing swivel castors either cast iron or polyurethane tyred with the option of screw down parking jacks.
Gantries can also be custom built to your specification.
Capacities up to 6 tonne

A special mobile gantry designed to maximise the raised hoist hook height by fitting the Stahl electric chain hoist at the very top!
This is achieved by mounting the hoist on top of the trolley (the hoist is secured from underneath), which is travelling between a pair of parallel tracks.
We had to make the gantry 'A' frames wider to accomodate the twin tracks and also the internal bracing.
Safe Working Load: 500, 1000 & 1500 kg
